May 18th 2008:

ITV High Definition is now testing on Astra 2 ... some HD receivers are unable to receive it because ITV have decided to hide it. The Technomate HD receivers wont find ITV HD if you just enter the normal parameters into a Manual Search. The only way is to manual edit the parameters using a utility downloadable from the net ... we've done that, so just copy the following file to your computer (preferably a USB Flash Drive) and then insert the Flash Drive into your Technomate via the USB port under the flap on the front of the box.

May 6th 2008:

Channel Four is now Free to Air along with E4, E4+1, More4 and More4+1 and we have updated the programming for the Technomate TM-5200-USB:
To upgrade your Technomate, you should click on the link below and this will take you to the file that we have created. You should then download the file to your computer, preferably to a USB Flash Drive or other storage device which can be connected to the Technomate via the onboard USB port.

Plug your Flash Drive (or other storage device) containing the newly downloaded file into the USB port of the Technomate ... the USB port is located under the drop down flap on the front of the receiver. Press MENU, then highlight and select 'USB' and then 'Data Transfer' ... you will be prompted for a password which is 0 0 0 0 . You will see the .ndf file which you have just downloaded so highlight it and press 'OK'. A pop up box will ask you to choose the DB, just select the default 'Normal DB' by pressing 'OK'. The receiver will then transfer the file from the Flash Drive (it takes only seconds) and will then go into standby. Your receiver is now upgraded.
