With a satellite internet connection from NordNet, you can use it to telephone people in France and around the world. Telephone by Satellite is an optional add-on to your NordNet subscription and it allows you to use your satellite modem to make and recieve calls using an ordinary telephone handset.

Telephone by satellite needs a special adapter which connects to one of the ethernet ports on your NordNet router. An ordinary telephone, either cordless or fixed, then connects to the adapter. NordNet allocate you a telephone number in the form of 09 xx xx xx xx and there are various monthly payment plans which are detailed here.
